BCMF Regional Gatherings

The governance for the Metis people has reached a critical breaking point in British Columbia due to the accumulation of issues.  However, the BC Metis Federation continues work to rebuild the Nation for a better future for our culture, family, and community.  Therefore the BC Metis Federation is pleased to announce regional gatherings being held throughout BC beginning Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 on Vancouver Island at the Coast Bastion Hotel at 6 pm. 

The BC Metis Federation regional gatherings are open to all Metis people and we strongly encourage all Metis community organizations and service delivery agencies to attend to get a better sense of how the Nation can and will be rebuilt.   

Once again the BC Metis Federation will showcase Metis culture and provide beverages and food at each of the scheduled events.  The agenda will cover an explanation of why these meetings have been arranged, open dialogue regarding Metis governance, plus a discussion on regional priorities.
